The New Jersey band, made up of brothers Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas, took prizes for best single, breakout group, love song, song of the summer, male red carpet fashion icons and male hottie awards.

US teen series Gossip Girl also scooped six prizes for best TV drama, breakout show and TV villain, which went to actor Ed Westwick.
Best TV drama actress and breakout star awards went to Blake Lively and Chace Crawford took best actor.
Other winners at the awards, which was hosted by Miley Cyrus who picked up three awards herself, included Will Smith, singer Chris Brown, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere and David Beckham.
